This is one of the most unusual film festivals that has been held in San Sebastian for almost 30 years. Horror and fantasy features, short films and even movies for kids are screened at the festival. However, program of activities is not limited to viewing the latest films about monsters, ghosts, werewolves and other evil spirits. This festival is also celebrated outside the cinema, as it is dedicated to the celebration of Halloween (All Saints Day). Theatrical performances, mystical master classes and sinister contests are held  the Old Town for those who want to join mysterious atmosphere of San Sebastian during the days of this festival.
