The first car rally was held in San Sebastian in 1923, when cars were still a luxury and not means of transportation. This high class event was designed to draw attention of European aristocrats to a small Spanish city on the Atlantic coast. Later, the circuit rally became an annual event and attracted interest from motorists from all over the world not only because it took place in the most scenic places of Gipuzkoa province but also because of the opportunity to admire chic cars.  Throughout the years, brands like Ford, Mercedes Benz, Maserati, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo have demonstrated their new or classic models in this event. Nowadays the charm of this circuit is that it revives the fashionable tradition of attracting dozens of retro car fans from Europe to San Sebastian.
The circuit starts from the center city of San Sebastian and returns there in the evening. Come before the start of the rally for an opportunity to make spectacular photos with luxury cabriolets, sedans and sports cars.
